B.Ed Admission

 B.Ed is a 2 year undergraduate teaching course which is pursued by candidates who aspire to become teachers in schools, preferably for secondary and senior secondary levels. Candidates can also do B.Ed program through distance mode of education from many colleges. Distance BEd courses are usually 2-5 years long.

Admission Process

B.Ed admission 2023 in many top universities and colleges is based on an entrance exam. Candidates can appear for state level or university level entrance exams to take admission in B.Ed course. Many entrance exams like DU B.Ed, IGNOU B.Ed, UP B.Ed JEE etc are conducted for admission in B.Ed courses.


Many states conduct a special B.Ed state admission process. UP B.Ed Admission is done on the basis of state level entrance exam UP B.Ed JEE. Like UP, Bihar B.Ed admission is also based on Bihar B.Ed CET. The admission process also includes a counseling session after the candidates qualify the entrance test to offer admission to the B.Ed course. IGNOU B.Ed Admission 2023 has also started and is open till January 31, 2023 for the January 2023 session. B.Ed admission in IGNOU is done on the basis of IGNOU B.Ed entrance exam.

B.Ed admission in Delhi is done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in graduation. Some universities including DU, IP University conduct national level entrance exams for B.Ed admission in Delhi.
